Control Any Lead-Based Paint Threats in Your Home
Envirotech Of Fairfield County Inc is an area leader when it comes to testing for lead-based paint and creating management programs.
We’re an EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP)-certified firm and training provider, and we also are certified lead-risk assessors. Lead paint is a serious health risk, especially for children, so whether you need to test for lead paint or want to control it, you can count on us.
Let Us Test Your Property for Lead-Based Paints
When your property is tested for lead paint, our process includes an inspection, which identifies the lead content of every painted surface in your home, and a risk assessment, which tells you if any of those surfaces pose a serious health risk.
The risk assessment identifies issues like peeling paint and the presence of lead dust, and also tells you what actions you should take.
Rather than taking two-inch-square samples of your paint and sending them to a lab for analysis, we use an X-ray fluorescence (XRF) detector that measures the lead content in painted surfaces without disturbing the paint itself.
You will receive a computer-generated report on the same day we test.
Comprehensive Lead Paint Services Done On-Site
With Envirotech, you’ll get complete lead paint testing and on-site results. We offer lead, water, soil, and dust testing, and will design lead dust control services for window wells, sills, floors, etc., including all friction points.
We use the complete line of EuroClean and Ledisolv cleaning agents and conduct post dust testing with lead dust wipes. We also offer HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) vacuuming to remove particles of 0.3 microns or larger from the air. This process has an efficiency of 99.97% or better.
Our staff project planners and designers conduct consultations on-site and off-site, and we will create lead management and abatement plans based on your situation. Testing is recommended every six months.
Let Us Prepare Your Workers for EPA Certification
If you’re in renovation, repair, or any other business that disturbs lead-based paint, your renovators must be certified. We can do that through our EPA-certified classes.
Our initial certification number is NAT-RV-R-61376-2-EN and our refresher number is NAT-RV-R-61376-2-EN.
We offer an eight-hour course in regulations related to being EPA certified in Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rules for $200. A four-hour refresher course is $175. Call now to learn about our next scheduled class.
